Week 5. MKTG 3349 - Generative AI
It only takes eight hours of your time to complete the introductory course on the fundamentals of Generative AI offered by Google Cloud. According to Rachel Wells, a writer for Forbes, employers who lack knowledge of artificial intelligence may be left behind with the emergence of ChatGPT. By incorporating AI knowledge into their skills, individuals will become more desirable to employers due to the high demand for this skill. (Wells). As AI continues to advance, more and more companies will likely adopt it. Google Cloud is also providing businesses with AI programs like Vertex AI that allow individuals to create their own models and applications. Additionally, they offer consulting services to help customers develop AI strategies, which can uncover trends within their own company's data. (Kurian). Google Cloud also gives a course on what is considered responsible AI which allows individuals to have a better understanding of ethical practices and how impactful AI is.
Overall this certification program is incredibly beneficial as it is free and it provides individuals with a great understanding on what is the difference between generative AI to traditional practices. It also provides those with such skills to carry with them within their workplace.
