Week 4- MKTG 3349 - The Power of Canva
Canva is a free design platform that allows users to create easy flyers, business cards by using templates. Unlike other free graphic design platforms it gives professional like results; there are many cool editing features. Canva also offers a variety of templates for different industries and you can make it unique for you own brand. They also give users the option to upgrade to their pro versions on a monthly or yearly subscription. Canva Pro gives users the experience to use features like the brand kit, or more professional picture editing. Another interesting feature would be their brand voice which uses AI to generate text that sounds like your brand. This can help small businesses who struggle with getting their wording out. Although Canva has many pictures to choose from I had the opportunity to ask their AI systems to create a watercolor image. Canva is extremely accessible to beginners designers as it available in 130 languages, it also has a bunch of features that state auto adjustment meaning AI will fix it for you. The most used templates are for pictures and posters you can also use Canva for video editing. Another awesome feature is that you can edit yourself presenting your presentation. (Singleton)
I was very pleased how easy it was to create this poster; it only took a few minutes. At first I had no idea on what to create, and I decided to take a look at their templates and chose one. Like I state before I used the AI to create this watercolor picture. The statement I used was "create a girl with long brown hair + watercolor" and it give me 4 options to choose from. I believe that Canva is a great option for small businesses who can not afford to hire a graphic designer. There are many different templates that can be used on social media, great features that other platforms do not have, and the option for AI to help will benefit owners.
